Welcome to Chasing Perfection!
I’m a lifelong technologist, seasoned chess enthusiast, and dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner (B.J.J.) with over 40 years of computing experience, with a strong focus on computer security and ethical hacking. Technology has always been where my curiosity lives, and I’ve spent my life exploring how systems work and how to protect them.
I’ve been training in B.J.J. for about five and a half years and currently hold a four-stripe blue belt at Nova Mente Academy in Englewood, Colorado. The discipline, strategy, and physicality of B.J.J. have become a core part of my daily life and mindset.
Outside of technology and martial arts, I am an avid chess player with about 30 years of experience and an ELO rating around 1500, enjoying the mental challenge and strategic depth the game offers. It has been a steady companion throughout the years.
Whether it’s through the chessboard, the mat, or the command line, I am always looking for ways to learn, improve, and grow.
